Dear Cornerstone Family and Friends,
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our “Next Generation” fundraiser. This is needed to complete two exciting projects designed to enhance our ministry to children and families. With God’s provision and the generous support of our church family, we’ve already transformed much of our church, and now we’re focusing on two remaining key areas that will strategically extend our outreach: renovating the gym and installing an outdoor playground next to the church offices.
The gym renovation will create a vibrant, safe, and welcomingly warm space for ministries like Awana, JLC, youth group and children’s ministries, VBS, CCA, and sports outreach events. This upgraded facility will serve as a central hub where children and teens can grow in faith, build friendships, and engage in fun activities connected to the gospel sharing ministries of Cornerstone Church.

Additionally, the new playground will provide a fun and engaging environment for children during church events, Sunday services, and throughout the week, offering families another reason to connect and feel at home at Cornerstone. These improvements will strengthen not only our current ministries but also open doors for new opportunities to reach families in our community.

Cornerstone Church continues to operate with zero debt and carefully maintains specific capital reserve levels as a matter of prudence and protection. The Next Generation fundraiser’s goal is to raise $150,000 to bring these special projects to completion without touching any reserves of the church. We invite you to prayerfully consider partnering in this exciting work! Your support will directly impact multiple ministries by creating spaces where our youth and church family can learn, grow, and experience the love of Christ. You can give online through our website by giving toward the Next Generation Fundraiser or through the Next Generation Fund envelopes which are available at the Welcome Center.
Thank you for your generosity, prayers, and partnership in serving the Next Generation!
In Christ our Lord,
The Elder Board, Cornerstone Church

Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Will there be an Awana circle on the gym floor?
Answer: Of course! These projects are being done to enhance the ministries of Cornerstone and create new opportunities for people to gather. They will fit into our vision and values.
Question: How long will these projects take and will they disrupt our ongoing ministries when they begin?
Answer: We estimate the projects will take several months to complete once finances and materials come in. With both projects, we will stage them in ways that will cause minimal disruption to our ministries. For the Fellowship Hall, we will do our best to stage the construction so the space can still be used for ministries once the new floor is installed.
Question: Is there a giant LED screen in the Fellowship Hall?
Answer: No. That is a projector screen for worship services.
Question: Will we start on one project as soon as we have enough? or will we wait to start everything until the fundraiser is complete?
Answer: The Elder Board will prayerfully consider when to start projects based on the incoming financing and our church calendar. We will not start projects that we do not have the funds to complete.
Question: What is the target date for completion?
Answer: Once we have the finances to begin the projects, we will put together a timeline for completion.
