Twin Cities Mission Trip
This Summer, we are taking a team to the Twin Cities of Minnesota to engage in missions work where we will serve, study, and strengthen our walk with the Lord. We will do this by partnering with various Twin Cities area ministries to do work projects, connect with people, and share the Gospel everywhere we go. This trip is open to anyone from 6th grade and up to attend, and parents and students are encouraged to attend together.
Serve
Study
Strengthen
On this trip we will be serving in various established ministries that are serving in the Twin Cities. We will do projects that support and build up these ministries, as well as serve alongside those who they regularly serve. The specific projects we do will be determined by our group size and make up, but we could be doing anything from painting houses to hosting street outreach events.
On this trip we will have intentional time as a group spent in the Word. This will happen during shared morning devotionals, midday checkins, evening worship sessions, and group time each night. This is a chance to get away from the distractions of everyday life and connect with the Lord. We will spend the week focused on God's unconditional love for us and our response to his great love.
One of the best parts of mission trips is the chance to be stretched out of our comfort zones. Mission trips give us an opportunity to experience new things together and grow as we reflect on what we are learning. We will take time each day to reflect on how we are growing, and each person will find themselves leading part of our trip.
