The Reality of the Resurrection

When the lifeless body of the one who said “I am the resurrection and the life” was placed in a tomb, none of the followers of Jesus expected anything other than death. When Mary found the tomb empty, she assumed someone had moved the body. It was not until Jesus revealed himself that his followers begin to truly believe. This Sunday we gather to celebrate the truth that Jesus rose and reigns forevermore.
