Nebuchadnezzar's final story in Daniel was one of repentance and recognition of the Most High God. It seemed certain that after he finished writing a chapter of the Hebrew Bible that we would see a change in the future of Babylon. Instead, Daniel 5 shows us what happens when a king acts like a beast and refuses to acknowledge his beastliness to the end.
